We are so excited to celebrate our wedding day with some of our closest friends and family. Each of you has touched our lives in a measurable and critical way. We love you so very much.
With the support of our wonderful parents, we’ve put together (what we hope) will be a day of joy, laughter, maybe a couple tears, and lots of love. All you gotta do is show up!

the bus departs
We are offering optional bus transportation to our wedding guests.
If you plan to hitch a ride to the Norfolk Botanical Gardens on the (party) bus, please meet in the cul-de-sac in front of the Marriott Oceanfront Resort, right across from the Historic Cavalier Resort. The bus will depart from in front of the Marriott at 3:30PM sharp!
Paid parking for your personal vehicle will be available at either the Marriott or the Cavalier Hotel.

4:00-4:45PM
The bus will arrive at Norfolk Botanical Gardens around 4:15PM.
If you are driving yourself, we also recommend arriving well before 5PM, as our ceremony is either a 15 minute walk or quick golf cart ride from the parking lot.
When you arrive, feel free to pop into the welcome center to freshen up or use the restroom.
Gold carts will be available to transport guests to the Butterfly Garden at 4:15, 4:30, and 4:45.
5:00PM
ceremony!
We will start the ceremony promptly at 5PM in the Butterfly Garden. It’s only a half an hour long. No real room for error here so don’t be late and miss the show. :)
Pro-tip: Arrive early to our ceremony site and get some cute pictures in front of our floraled-out gazebo.

5:30PM
Please join us for a open air cocktail hour immediately following the legitimization of our union in the Butterfly Garden. Have a drink, have a snack, take some photos, run around and enjoy nature! Be fancy free and footloose.
Wine, beer, and nonalcoholic options will be available to drink. Hors d'oeuvres will be passed. There are restrooms available in the Butterfly Garden.
exit the garden & head to blanca for dinner
6:30-7:15PM
Around 6:30PM, golf carts will be available to shuttle all guests back from Happy Hour to the Norfolk Botanical Gardens parking lot.
From there, please head to Blanca (approx. 10-15 minutes away). The address for Blanca is 4117 Granby Street, Norfolk, VA 23504. Parking is available behind the restaurant.
The bus will leave NBG around 7:00PM to drop guests off at Blanca.
Once you arrive at Blanca, please grab a drink, mix, mingle, and find your seat for our reception dinner!
7:30PM
reception dinner begins!
Dinner service will officially pop off around 7:30PM! Appetizers are shared, but, fret not — everyone will order their own entree.
We are so excited to share a meal together at one of our favorite restaurants, hear a couple of toasts, eat some cake, and ultimately delight in the evening’s spoils with our loved ones.

When dinner and merriment comes to a close, the bus will depart around 10:30PM to bring guests back to the Marriott/Cavalier, thus concluding what we hope will have been a magical day!
